With 20 weddings coming up over the next 3 months, Karen suggested we take a mini break before it all starts happening. Good idea! So we jumped in the car and traveled up to Glenelg on the west coast of Scotland.
Karen’s from Perth on the other side of the coast so I let her drive as she knew the area!
If you haven’t been to Scotland…go.
What a stunning place!
If you’re in that neck of the woods, check out The Glenelg Inn. It’s a great place to stay, does wonderful food and the staff are the friendliest I’ve met anywhere.

Mr & Mrs Jenkins are one of the youngest couples I’ve had the pleasure to work with. I thought they might be a little nervous, but they were both as cool as cucumbers on the day.
Hot weather tip: make sure someone brings a coolbag of little water bottles with them on a hot day. Give the job to your best man. He’ll be the most popular person at the party! Often ceremony venues don’t provide refreshment facilities and it’s a big gap between guests leaving home and the reception.
Talking of hot; Emily & Steven were off to Antigua for a week

I hadn’t been to the Manor before. It’s part of the De Vere group of hotels. Very classy-I’m looking forward to shooting the wedding there
